The student project “Sheep Box” is led by Kainan Zhao from International Business School Suzhou of XJTLU. Sheep Box is tailored for students of Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), with the initial intention of serving XJTLU Community, improving administrative efficiency for the university, and optimizing the cost and efficiency of communication with the student body. At the same time, it enhances the socialization between students and alumni, realizes the interoperability of resources and eliminates the information gap, so as to improve the quality of campus life and the development of students ‘professional and academic careers. We create a campus community platform that is unique to XJTLU. They signed the Pre-Incubation Agreement on 6 September, 2024.
Application scenarios
For the university: Enhance the administrative efficiency and the efficiency of information alignment, while optimizing the communication costs with the student community.
For students: Connect students from the SIP and TC campuses of XJTLU, strengthen social interactions between students and alumni, improve the utilization efficiency of both on-campus and off-campus resources, and eliminate information gaps.
Support from X³ Co-venture
1. Funding Support:In the initial stage,X³ Co-venture will provide 15,000 RMB in funding for platform development and market promotion.
2. External Financing Connection: X³ Co-venture will assist XJTLU Box in connecting with angel investors and venture capital firms.
3. Resource Support: X³ Co-venture will provide free office space and meeting rooms at the Taicang Campus. Additionally, experienced entrepreneurial mentors will be available to offer business advice and training related to entrepreneurship.
4. On-Campus Promotion: X³ Co-venture will help enhance the on-campus visibility of XJTLU Box through the school’s social media channels and by assisting in organizing online and offline events.
Future Development
Create a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive campus communication platform for XJTLU, connecting students, faculty, and alumni to facilitate knowledge sharing, experience exchange, and resource sharing. It will become an indispensable companion in the campus life of the XJTLU community.
