In addition to EAP modules, the ELC offers optional culture and sustainability modules focusing on helping students develop essential 21st-century skills.
The culture module enhances students’ understanding of theoretical issues in intercultural communication and applies them to real-world scenarios in an international university setting. Students will improve their intercultural awareness and reflective skills for effective interactions with diverse peers and academic staff.
The sustainability module offers students a foundational understanding of sustainability, focusing on four pillars: environmental, economic, social, and human-related. Students will reflect on their practices, collaborate in teams, and apply their knowledge to real-world situations through the study of global initiatives and local behaviours.
